Marijke Clara Boonzaaier graduated


Bsc Physiotherapy.


Marijke Clara Boonzaaier graduated with the degree in BSc Physiotherapy at the Univerity of Pretoria in 2012. After she completed her compulsory year of community service in the tranquil rural parts of Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal, she continued to work at private practices in Pongola, Durban and Pretoria.


During her time of practice, she furthered her experience and knowledge as Physiotherapist by obtaining the following formal training and qualifications, namely;


Pilatus instructor Spinning instructor Dry needling
Orthopedic manual therapist Mulligan’s spinal manipulations Exercise and function without pain
Sports massage Visceral manipulation Strapping

Marijke gained valuable experience by working in a variety of all different settings and client bases - from rural communities to small town and large cities and a wide variety of hospitals.  The extent of exposure and work included orthopedic cases, ICU and High care cases, athletes, sports, pediatric, rehabilitation physiotherapy, school educational sessions and wellness programs.


Following a passion for sports that provides further depth and insight into the essence of Physiotherapy, Marijke, actively participates in events such as the 94.7 Cycle race, the Bell Big 5 MTB challenge, Sani2C MTB, 2Oceans, Ironman70.3 and numerous adventure races and organized road runs and has obtained her black belt in JKA karate.


With wide exposure and diverse interest, Marijke believes in a holistic approach to patient health and wellness, with special interest in sports, back and neck, and headaches.
